Whiteboard (github.com/devdotfast/whiteboard) is an open-source desktop app from a YC W26 team of four, two of them ex-Palantir. It bolts onto Claude Code or Codex and gives the agent an SDK to draw on a canvas. Three pieces: sequence and database diagrams you can click to jump to code, an AST-aware diff viewer in Rust that shows big new functions as pseudocode and collapses tests and docs by default, and a decision log where the agent links its own trace so you can see what it decided on its own. The Show HN got 206 points and 82 comments. The repo has around 500 stars.
